Adèle Désirs is the Manager of the Victim Identification Unit within Queensland Police Service’s Task Force Argos and Chair of INTERPOL’s Crimes Against Children Specialists Group Victim Identification Subgroup (2025–2027). A French Police Captain with over a decade of service, she spent five years seconded to INTERPOL’s Crimes Against Children unit in Lyon, leading victim identification operations and administering the International Child Sexual Exploitation database (ICSE DB).
Since joining Argos in 2017, Adèle has been based at the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation in Brisbane, where she leads a team using advanced media analysis, dark‑web and web proactive monitoring, and global intelligence‑sharing to identify children featured in Child Exploitation Material faster and remove them from further harm.
