Matthias Wilson

Matthias Wilson spent 17 years in German military intelligence, mainly supporting and covering military operations in Afghanistan. In multiple deployments, he was assigned as an intelligence and liaison officer to German and coalition Special Forces, providing actionable intelligence for countless offensive operations. Matthias also spent four years as a teacher at a German government training academy, mainly teaching intelligence analysis and SIGINT. 

Since leaving the service, Matthias has professionalized the use of intelligence techniques (both OSINT and HUMINT) at Germany's largest insurance company Allianz . Before starting his own consulting and training firm PLOSINT Consulting, he spent three years on the executive protection team of BMW. There he was in charge of the digital personal security of the board members and their families, as well as providing direct support and intelligence to the close protection operatives.
