CRIMINAL INTELLIGENCE ANALYST - CYBERCRIME [JPC3]
EASTERN COMMAND, AFP

Jimmy is a Criminal Intelligence Analyst within the AFP’s Eastern Command, and is nationally recognised as a thought leader in intelligence-led child sexual exploitation investigations. Jimmy has trained both Australian and foreign law enforcement teams on how to embed OSINT tradecraft into criminal investigations, and has a particular passion for people-focused practices including geolocation, genealogy, and behavioural analysis. As part of his frontline operational role, Jimmy has used OSINT to identify and dismantle several major transnational and domestic child abuse networks, including the largest domestic online child exploitation network in Australian history as the intelligence case officer for Operation ARKSTONE. Most recently, Jimmy has been working closely with public and private sector partners to shape Australia’s whole-of-Government strategy to detect and combat commercial child sexual exploitation crimes by augmenting financial intelligence with open sources. Over the last half-decade, Jimmy has applied his tradecraft to target the most serious offenders, enumerate large-scale crime networks, and identify and locate hundreds of victims of crime. Jimmy will continue to apply these skills in his most recent assignment to AFP Cybercrime.
