Peter leads the New Zealand Police open source intelligence team, which he developed from scratch post the 2019 terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand. His assortment of existing skills and range of interests helped craft a diverse national unit, central to the success of OSINT at Police. Prior to joining New Zealand Police, Peter worked for 15 years as an intelligence analyst and team lead in the New Zealand government. Peter has specialist knowledge in open source tradecraft, innovation and policy development. Peter is passionate about leading open source experts, delivering valuable strategic and tactical open source intelligence, and balancing our community values in the pursuit of OSINT success.
